Garnier: Pure Active 3 in 1

Hello!

I think I have an obsession with this stuff. Let me just say I don't use this as a facial wash. I find it too drying to be used daily. I do, however, think that this product is amazing as a facial mask. While you apply it, the pumice stone in it exfoliates your skin, and after you wash it off,  it leaves your skin fresh and bright.

The one I have is aimed at people with oily/combination skin that is prone to pimples and other imperfections. It contains salicylic acid, which I do look for in a face product. At first, the smell of this mask made me want to gag. I think you need to get used to it, as it is probably the worst thing about this product. If any Garnier product maker person (?) is reading this, could you please change the smell to peppermint? I think that would work very well.

II usually put this mask on around twice a week (alright, thrice). If you put it on before you shower and leave it for a while before washing it off, that works nicely.

The Perks of Being A Wallflower

{Book Review: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky}

I recently found out how to use an online photo editor and went a little overboard...

Hello!

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is amazing. The book is full of witty and intelligent lines, the characters are beautifully written and the (super talented) author has chosen to write from the perspective of a very funny guy, Charlie, who comes of age during the novel. This may be my favourite book of the year (even though I read it last year).

I Actually I first heard about the book when I was in my Logan Lerman phase (I'm talking about it like I got over it - I haven't) . I was Wikipedia-ing, as one does, and saw he was to star in the movie. It seemed like an interesting title to I decided to get the book. Best decision ever! This book is so fresh, and unlike anything else I've ever read that has come out of this period of time. There are no vampires, no ghosts, no supernatural love triangles. Just a collection of honest letters written by a fifteen year old, telling you about his life and experiences. I couldn't put the book down - seriously, I read it in school, during both physics and calculus.

Read this book. A definite 10/10. If you haven't seen the movie, go watch it. Here is the trailer. I haven't seen the movie, but only because the stupid cinema company decided to show it for the one week that I was busy at school! *silent scream* The cast is amazing, full amazing actors and actresses (e.g. Emma Watson, Nina Dobrev, Ezra Miller). The Perks got great reviews from critics - not that they really matter, anyway. Go see for yourself.

And I'll be here, jealous. Dumb cinema.

I would say that you should be around fourteen or fifteen before reading The Perks. There's a bit of mature content in it.

Enjoy - and take your time reading, you can't rush this book.

P.S. I watched the film (FINALLY!) and I have to say, it was stupendous. Incredible. Beyond fantastic. I sat there, dazed, wondering how I could have lived before seeing it. Am I exaggerating? No. Am I a bit dramatic? Maybe.
